The 2018 cruise season looks promising at the Port of Montreal. Cruise lines kick off the new year by publishing their trip deals and tour routes for the year ahead, and Montreal is sure to be more popular than ever.

With 15 more stopovers than in 2017, more than 130,000 cruise passengers and crew members will be visiting Montreal between May and November 2018. That’s a 13.5% upswing over 2017, when the Port of Montreal welcomed 114,517 cruise passengers and crew members, and that was already a 33% leap over the previous year.

In addition, three cruise ships will enter Port of Montreal waters for the first time: the Victory II, the Star Pride and the AIDAvita.

In another new development, two cruise lines will offer a round trip from and back to Montreal: the German line AIDA Cruises, aboard the AIDAvita this summer, and the American Seabourn Cruises Line, whose Seabourn Quest will offer a fall cruise to take in our fall forest colours.
